Ergometers can be booked on Fridays at noon (12:00 p.m.) via the Veribook Booking System. Crews can book TWO 45 minute sessions per week.

The schedule is based on the number of crews who have registered, as of January 7, the schedule is as follows:

  • Mondays – first session at 4:00 p.m., last session at 8:00 p.m.
  • Tuesdays – first session at 4:00 p.m., last session at 9:00 p.m.
  • Wednesdays – first session at 4:00 p.m., last session at 9:00 p.m.
  • Thursdays – first session at 4:00 p.m., last session at 9:00 p.m.
  • Saturdays – first session at 7:00 a.m., last session at 2:00 p.m.

Bookings will commence every Friday, beginning at 12 noon and will remain open for a 72-hour period, at which time ALL REMAINING TIME SLOTS WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE to crews that have already booked their allotted two weekly sessions. The allocation of remaining training sessions is on a first-come, first-served basis, and we kindly ask that crews book no more than three sessions per week in total. Boathouse staff will monitor the online booking system on a regular basis to ensure fairness in the booking process.

If availability exists, crews may be able to book additional training sessions above the regular two-three session allotment, for an additional fee. This will be taken into consideration upon individual request.

All sessions will be ONE HOUR in duration — this includes the sanitization/cleaning process conducted by our staff at the end of your session so; your exercise time will NOT be a full 60 minutes. You are asked to please leave the Museum after 45 minutes to ensure our staff can properly clean/sanitize for the next team.

Sessions are typically held in the Boathouse Musuem, however, should the weather allow, we may hold them on the deck.

Masks must be worn at all times while in the building, EXCEPT when you are exercising (i.e — ONLY when you are seated on the erg machine).

Erg Bookings

As of 2015, an online booking system is used to make bookings.

Important Note: Crews must register using our online registration and submit their waivers before they will be permitted to make a booking. Once registration and waivers are complete you will be sent an email with a user name and password for the online booking site.

Crews may register by sending an e-mail and EMT to [email protected].

Please note your crew’s name and the contact information for the team leader (person responsible for team coordination and bookings). Sign-in information for the online booking system will be e-mailed to the team leader once your registration fee is paid.

ONLY one person can make the bookings for your crew, and the online system will be monitored to ensure this rule is upheld.

Please continue checking back for more information on our Learn to Row Sessions, and the possibility of availing of coaching services.

At this time, we do not have a coach on staff, however, we are working on it and will update shortly.

The cost of the 2021 Winter/Spring Training Program is $450 (per crew) for the sixteen week duration, regardless of the number of your team members that are participating in the program as it is based on booking a session and ensure it is program-operating-cost recoverable.

You can pay your fee via EMT to [email protected].

We are set up for auto-deposit, so you will not require a password.

We ask that you please make the payment in full, instead of multiple transactions as it is more of a challenge for accounting/record-keeping purposes.

Space is limited, so please register soon.
