Welcome to The St. John’s Regatta! We’re committed to ensuring that all visitors, regardless of ability, can enjoy this historic event to the fullest.
Inclusion Support Throughout the Event
Our dedicated Inclusion Crew Volunteers will be available all day, identifiable by their Blue Inclusion Crew Hats. They’ll be stationed around the pond, ready to assist with any accessibility questions or concerns.
Visit the Inclusion Tent located at the top of the pond, on Carnell Drive near the Dominion parking lot.
Please note: There are a number of peak times throughout Regatta Day when crowds are anticipated to be above 20,000 and will impede accessibility. These times include 11:00am-4:30pm and during the Championship Races in the evening.
Accessible Information
The event schedule is available in large print, braille, and audio formats. You can access it on our website or pick up a copy at the Inclusion Tent on Regatta Day.
Accessible Parking and Transportation
Designated Accessible Blue Zone Parking is available at the Dominion Parking Lot.
The Dominion Parking Lot also serves as the designated drop-off location for GoBus services.
Accessible Facilities
Accessible portable washrooms are located throughout the venue, including near the boathouse and the Beer Garden.
Accessible Charging Stations can be found at the boathouse and in front of the St. John’s Senior Soccer Association building on Carnell Drive .
Race Day Notifications
Please be aware that each race will include extremely loud gunshots to denote the start and finish. Here’s the sequence:
- Start of every race
- Potential for additional gunshots within the first minute of each race in case of false starts or issues
- First boat to finish from each race
- Additional gunshots for the finish of each U14 crew, where possible
